JAHNKOY and PUMA create Folk Art-Inspired Collection

PUMA and New York-based Russian artist JAHNKOY took the PUMA Alteration and the PUMA RS-X Knit sneakers with apparel, and dressed them in folk art, to create a brand new look. JAHNKOY takes the history of indigenous culture and fuses it with contemporary fashion, in this case streetwear.

First up is the RS-X Knit, the upper gets textile overlays, plus traditional tassels made from recycled materials. They used an assortment of colors including red, green and yellow on the prints and midsole. The Alteration comes in a white, black and tan color scheme, with signature embroidered patterns and graphics. The word “Forward”  is stamped on the heel in JAHNKOY fashion.

The collection is available now at PUMA’s webstore, the RS-X Knit sneaker is priced at $170 USD and the Alteration goes for $160 USD. Don’t forget to scroll through the photo gallery above.
