Lapstone & Hammer Have Created a Saucony Courageous Moc “TwoRivers”

Lapstone & Hammer and Saucony have linked up for a new take on the Courageous dubbed the Courageous Moc “Two Rivers.” Philadelphia based brand Lapstone & Hammer are located 75 miles up the Saucony river from  shoe maker Saucony, hence the  two rivers design. Saucony’s name comes from the Native American Lenape word “saconk”, which means “where two rivers run together.”

The Courageous Moc comes in “Bone White” and “Black Suede,” both made of buttery silkee and mammoth suede, along with supple goat and Horween leather for a premium feel.  The sockliners are constructed with calfskin leather, the tongue gets a sherpa fleece-lining, and each are whip-stitched by hand in traditional moccasin style.Additional details include branding on tongues and insoles, premium cork midsoles with EVA foam, which sits on a toothed gum outsole. Both sneakers get different lacing options, with natural rawhide leather and flat waxed cotton.

Joining the footwear release, apparel including sherpa hoodies, shorts, marble-dyed cotton hoodies, cargo pants, and co-branded tees will all be aprt of the capsule.

The Lapstone & Hammer x Saucony “Two Rivers” collection will release exclusively at the Lapstone & Hammer webstore on March 28 and a bigger release on April 4th. Both Courageous Mocs will go for $150 USD, and apparel ranging from $50-$150 USD.
