Overkill and adidas Team up for ZX8000 "No Walls Needed" Pack

In celebration of the 30-year anniversary of the Berlin Wall’s destruction, Berlin boutique Overkill and adidas Originals  have created a two-shoe adidas ZX8000 pack dubbed “No Walls Needed.” Each shoe contains meaningful details from that history changing moment.

The first pair has a grey and cream mesh/suede base, with red and green tones on the lateral side, and a mixture of purple and blue accents on the medial side. The midsole is split between  vibrant neon and a classic grey.

The second pair gets volt and hot pink hits on thhe upper and black and grey accents on the lateral. Vibrant blue hits one side of the midsol and on the otherside grey. Special packaging .

Each shoe has a different symbol on the heel, in reference to guiding principles of equality, individuality, freedom and unity, that no walls are needed.

The Overkill x adidas Originals ZX 8000 “No Walls Needed” pack will release exclusively in Overkill’s Berlin location on November 2, and  1989 pairs will be available. Retail is set at €260 EUR or $288 USD. A €100 EUR “welcome money,” comes with each pair as a nod to the cash gift given by Germany’s Government  to visitors from the German Democratic Republic after the fall of the Berlin Wall.
