A Closer Look at the FORTY PERCENT AGAINST RIGHTS x Nike SB Dunk High

FORTY PERCENT AGAINST RIGHTS x Nike SB Dunk High fuses the Nike SB Dunk High with detailing from the Air Jordan 5 & 6 to create a new design.

The classic AJ6 style tongue is the first thing that jumped out at me, with the cut-out top and lace toggle. Other details that jumped out at me was the FPAR & SB branding replacing the usual Air Jordan spots, and Air Jordan 5 inspired textured plastic netting swooshes on the side panels.

FPAR and founder Tetsu Nishiyama are known for going against the grain, which shows with two of their slogans “Trust No One”  printed in white on the tongue, and “Don’t Follow Me” on the back half of the lateral leather swoosh. Co-branding can be seen on the heel tab, plastic heel piece and the Zoom Air-equipped insolel. A custom box will also come with every pair.

The FORTY PERCENT AGAINST RIGHTS x Nike SB Dunk High will be available for pre-order via a pop-up shop at ISETAN MENS starting Wednesday, October 23in Japan. A global release will hit retailers like The Berrics on Friday, October 25,  retail will be $125 USD. Don’t forget to scroll through the photo gallery to get a closer look.
